Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

Wind blowing sand every which way. I grab my camera gear and head out to the dunes. This man walking behind me with his dog eventually passes me as I slow down to get shots of the tallest dune. I became flustered because I knew he’d be in my shots.. As I inwardly let it go, a new scene unfolded before me. Excited to capture this new visual I ran until I could find the perspective that felt right. Just as I got to the spot it started raining. A lot.. but the man and his dog weren't phased. He just kept walking in tranquility. I snapped a few more shots and rushed all the way back to find shelter so that my camera gear wouldn't get ruined. I love the mixture of sand blowing and rain coming down sort of chaos yet the man and his friend are still on their journey walking with peace. Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park in Kanab, Utah.
